Learn how to make soap from scratch at home as a hobby. Have fun while learning completely hands-on. The objective is to understand saponification values and be comfortable calculating and formulating your own soap recipes at home. You'll make real cold process soap from scratch during the class session and get to take it home. Students also take home a soap mold, a bottle of sodium hydroxide and handouts, which include step-by-step instruction, resources, and recipes to help you continue at home.

Bring to class: Calculator, pen/pencil and safety goggles, wear a long sleeve shirt, closed-toe shoes, and wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Aprons are limited.
